New Ownership and Name Change
Montessori International Preschool in Frederiksberg will become Vega Montessori Preschool starting from 1 August 2025.
Anna Lindstedt and Carl Johan Nilsson will be the new owners of the preschool, originally founded by Isabel Valentine. Along with the new ownership, the preschool will change its name to Vega Montessori Preschool.
We are excited to continue Isabel’s wonderful work by nurturing a welcoming and international Montessori environment for children and families.

School Holidays & Optional Holiday Care
At Vega Montessori Preschool, we follow the official school holiday calendar set by Frederiksberg Municipality.
Our regular preschool program is closed during all major Danish school holidays, including:
- Autumn break (Week 42)
- Christmas & New Year break
- Winter break
- Easter break
- Summer break (4 weeks in July)
To support families who need childcare during these periods, we offer optional Holiday Care during the following weeks:
- Autumn break (October)
- Christmas break (selected days)
- Winter break
- Easter break
- The first week of our summer break in July
The fee for Holiday Care is an additional 800 DKK per child, per week. Please note that during Holiday Care, special holiday activities are offered instead of our regular daily routines. Holiday Care must be booked in advance.
How to Register Your Child
- Contact the preschool via email or phone to request the application form and the most up-to-date information about registration and fees.
- Fill out the application form, including your child’s name, birth date, desired start date, and any important health or background information.
- Submit the form along with the non-refundable registration fee (amount to be confirmed upon inquiry).
- Pay the enrollment deposit once the application is approved to secure your child’s spot.
- Attend a welcome meeting with your child before the first day to help ensure a smooth transition.
